Penyesuaian Diri Pada Remaja Obesitas Ditinjau Dari Kematangan Emosi Dan Jenis Kelamin

Abstrak

The purpose of this research was figure out : (a) correlation between emotional maturity and adjustment of adolescents with obesity (b) adjustment difference between adolescent obesity  for  both girl and boy . The subjects of  this research were adolescents aged 15 – 18 years, those who had a body weight exceeding 20% or  above normal weight and high school students  of the 1st to 3rd  grade. The sampling technique applied in this research  was incidental sampling. Statistical analysis used were product moment and t-test. The data were collected using two questionnaires, that were adjustment questionnaire and emotional maturity questionnaire. The results showed that there was positive and very significant correlation between emotional maturity and adjustment on adolescents with obesity (  xyr 0,5710 ; p < 0,01) and there was any adjustment difference between adolescent obesity (t = 2,14; p<0,05)  Keywords : emotional maturity, adjustment, and adolescents with obesity
