Peningkatan Motivasi Melalui Pemberdayaan Psikologis Dan Dampaknya Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan

Abstract
This research is rejoinder of Drake et. als’ research (2007) and has been  modified by the researcher. This research aims to examine relations of empowerment, motivation, and employee’s performance. This reaserch uses the empirical  random sampling technique in the data collection. Data are collected using a survey on 160 nonmanagement employees of  civil servants in Semarang . Data analysis uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) with  AMOS 16.0 program. The result of this research indicates that all hypotheses that have been proposed are accepted. Hypothesis 1 shows that empowerment  significantly gives positive influence toward motivation. Hypothesis 2 shows that motivation significantly gives positive influence to employee’s performance. Key words: Empowerment, motivation, employee performance, and  structural equation model (SEM).
