Abstract
Queuing is a condition in which a group of people, or machine components that require service have to wait in a certain order before finally obtaining services. This occurs when the ability to organize the service is smaller than the needs of the service. One study in the mathematical field related to this is the theory of queues. Queuing theory can be applied to optimize service delivery by minimizing both the cost of the provision of resources for conducting services and costs that may arise in those who need the service.  In this study, Arena is used to analyze the queue system at a counter of the public service bill payments in East Semarang.
