In the last 20 years, we see the growth of Information Technology ( TI) running very fast in Indonesia. With information technology, the manifestation can improve performance and enable various activities that can be executed swiftly, precisely and accurately, so that it can improve productivity. So no wonder if many Colleges offer skills in TI field, start to support not only in operational level but also in strategic level. This exploiting should concern to the characteristics of College which is completely different with business world. Investment in the field of TI must be  followed by improvement steps and adjustment of human being quality, process, and organization.  Key words : information technology, college, college of computer, globalization
