Abstract
Character or personality is not a habit, but the habit is generally derived from a personal character. From the habits we can draw a personal character trait. A good personality is very conducive to achieve good results, such as discipline, diligence, thoroughness, and high spirits. Similarly, in the field work personality contributes to the success of the work. This is due to personality factors that also contribute to determine an appropriateness of person’s job. There are several kinds of job in accordance with the types of personality orientation. We can identify whether or not our personality is in conformity with the job we have done. To help in measuring the personality of a person, this design uses the theory of Myers-Briggs type indicator and then applies in an expert-system-based personality test applications used as a reference for selecting suitable job.  Key words: Personality Test, Myers-Briggs type theory Indicator
