Pembangunan Telematika Indonesia

Abstrak

Recently it is realized that the use of new computer systems and communication systems are also involving a new communication media. Furthermore, telematics  refers to the development of  convergence among technology telecommunication, media,  and  informatics that each develops separately. Telematics convergence then  is defined as an electronic system based on digital technology or the Net. The term of Media in telematics then develops into   multimedia  discourse. This new term makes the publ confusing ic get confusing, because originally  it  refers only to multimedia computer systems ability to process information in  various  media. It raises ambiguity if the term is define  as an acronym for Telecommunications, Multimedia and Informatics. Broadly speaking the term Information Technology (IT), Telematics, Multimedia, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) may have similar  meaning, but the definition depends on the scope and the research perspective. Key words: Telematics, telecommunication, multimedia, informatics,
